The Hacktivity 2010 conference will be held in the Dürer Garden (Hungary) on September 18 and 19, 2010. This year’s keynote speaker will be no other than Bruce Schneier, the most famous IT security expert in the world. Bruce can be remembered from the last year’s edition of CONFidence conference in Krakow.

The Hacktivity conference, the oldest Hungarian independent IT security event will be organized for the seventh time this year. Presenters always include the highest ranking representatives of the IT security profession, but Bruce Schneier, referred to with eloquent simplicity simply as a “security guru” by the Economist, an American magazine, will tower over them. The general written opinion is that if you would like to know what true IT security means, you need to ask Bruce Schneier. When Schneier’s first amazingly successful book, Applied Cryptography was published, Wired magazine wrote that “this is the book that the American National Security Agency never wanted to see in print”. In addition to countless cutting edge scientific works, he is also publishing his freely available monthly newsletter titled Crypto-Gram, which is read regularly by an audience of 150,000.
